Cuban Gateway

Allied Communications (ACI) has been issued a license by the Federal Communications Commission (Cuba 214) that authorizes it to provide voice and data services between the United States and Cuba.  As an authorized telecommunications carrier, it also holds all necessary licenses from the U.S. Department of Treasury that authorize it to engage in all financial transactions necessary for terminating calls and data in Cuba.  ACI operates with corresponding regional and global carriers to provide access and connectivity for traditional voice and data, and is proposing a broadband gateway for research and humanitarian exchanges in the health and education sectors.  The latter interfaces may likely require additional approvals from both the U.S. and Cuban governments.
